A Miggy triple!!! I didn't see the top of the first, so as far as I know, JV had a nice outing. Weird they spotted The Bums 5 though.

Glad he settled down. Actually to me a a good thing. Lot of guys would have imploded. JV and the BP shut them down the rest of the way.

He had me worried in the sixth. Came out wild, but got thru it. And Brad didn't force things and went to the bullpen. All but two(Jackson and Avila) starters had multiple hits tonight. That's always nice to see. Especially with Victor still sitting. I was hoping for a 1-0 Tigers win. (Facing Hevo in fantasy, had Ryu and JV both going). But I'll gladly take the ass whoopin'.

POG today. (Along with Very Good Max). Nice to see DK have a good day at the plate while replacing Miggy in the field. Unheralded little things that get a team with its share of issues to 13 games over .500. 6-3 home stand. Doesn't matter who you're playing, that's good stuff. Especially when home games have been strangely hard to win this year. Two sweep against the best two teams in baseball and a down series against a team that was worst not too long ago. Weird, but I'll take it. On to the always up and coming Royals!

Kinda like the Lions lately...always next year. They will stick around this year.

They might get to 84-85 wins. I don't think they'll compete anymore than they did last year though. Same old story with the Royals, no power. Omar Infante has more homers than Butler and as many as Hosmer. You can't have a 1st basemen and a DH with those numbers and expect to compete. If they could add a power bat Id agree with you though. I love their defense and their entire pitching staff. Glad we don't have Gordon going against us this series. (I just hope the Lions win the North before I die.)
