Verlander's line looks worse than he pitched. After the two solo bombs, he gave up no runs, 7 hits (three of them infield singles), and no walks. Not a dominating performance by any stretch, but a step in the right direction.

I guess im a hypocrite. ive cut on many Tiger pitchers in the past, '' F.Rodney'' and others way before him. Ive been a Verlander fan since my dad told me to watch him pitch a game, and that was like JV's 2nd season. and im not used to people cutting on him. My bad aaroon.

Man i stuck up for JV ALL last yr. at the beginning of this yr. i still got faith just cant make anymore excuses. Hes always irritated me with high pitch counts. As long as hes good JV in the postseason, ill be happy.

Nice sweep for not using vmart. Now lets not play down to TB and lose 3 outta 4. They have won a few in a row tho. Hate 4 game series. Gotta just hope for 2-2 and maybe hope to steal one and win 3 outta 4. Cool they moved sundays game to ESPN. ricky gonna get some national love going against price. Another SO?
