Wow. Oaklands pitcher is avg at best. The farthest he has gone is 7 this year and the Tigers made him look good. Wow at last the Lions are competitive.
Not really his FIP is but his ERA is actually .6 higher..And his xFIP is a putrid 4.68( on par with that 2008 season).. Btw his K/9 is the lowest of his career at 6.39 since his rookie season.. His BB/9 is almost 4 which is really bad and his WHIP is 1.51 which again is awful.. There are more indicators that Verlander has been mediocre other than his ERA indicates.. Even when it was sub 3, his WHIP was mid 1.3 which indicated he was going to get bombed sooner or later... He needs to step it up..
Well if this keeps up we can get Max for cheap!
His era is .6 higher, lol. Thats not a big difference..I am concerned with his velocity and strikeouts per nine dropping as well but if it means he pitches deeper into the games and doesnt land on the dl I will be ok with it.
