I would love Troy Tulowitzki on this team.......I havn't bothered to look up if that was possible, but boy would that be game changing in the terms of defense and the Lineup.

Tulo is not as good defensively as he was 3 year ago.. He's still good but Iglesius and Simmons are superior..

Acknowledged but boy would the lineup look crazy good.....Where would he bat? 3rd, 4th, 5th?.......Short stops that bat 3rd, 4th, 5th are a rare breed, much like catchers.

I think he would be welcomed with open arms, (obviously).....Again I'll await adrians comment on why it's not a possiblity.

I'm too lazy too look it up, but he probably already knows it, I'm patient.

I get money is always a issue, but no SS commands a Prince Fielder type contract......Just tossing fishing lines in the water and wishful thinking.

I'm not disappointed that the Tigers lost as much as they let this pitcher off the hook.. He did not pitch a great game and still only gave up 1 run.. It is frustrating to watch that..

The offensive disappointments pale in comparison to how BRUTAL the starting pitching has been this past week.

The BP will not be the issue if the offense and SP keeps this up. Long long season, so I will relax and let it play out.

truthfully Texas pitcher just got lucky a lot of times. Tigers hit several balls hard right at people. It could have been a lot close of a game.

Verlander having a very Verlander first inning.......Toss a million pitches give up some runs and then maybe in the 2nd inning he will start to pitch for real......Same ole story, gets old Justin.

Verlander has other things on his brain. Pitching isn't one of them.

Ausmus cracks me up....He looks like he's on the beach just trying to get a tan in the dugout.....Only problem I have is Geno is next to him.....That can't be good......

No body else see's that Verlanders arm isn't what it was in past years? I know I'm talking about the franchise and expect to get ripped for it, but He looks like junk and has for some time.

Sure I acknowledge what he's done for us in the past......Sports is a game of here and now and Justin doesn't look like Justin......Sure he won 20 games a few years ago etc etc.....What is he doing this year? Not Good.

Ya, like how to spend ALL THAT MONEY. Since signing that UNREAL CONTRACT, Verlander has gone 18-16. Does that record deserve 30 mil a year?

Funny how that works......Guys in a contract year do everything right to make sure they get paid then they just show up to fufill the contract.


If you want to see a championship team, look for the team with the most guys with expiring contracts and rookies trying to make it.......I'll bet that somehow those teams win championships.....In all sports not just baseball.
