I look forward to Mitch Albom's article about how Detroit would have won with Danny DeKeyser in the lineup.

Wow! Not too often a game ends 3-1 in OT.

I'm sure both teams would be very pleased if there is to be a playoff rematch anytime soon.

Yep good thing we didn't call that head shot in ot that lead to the goal.

Was it? Looked clean to me. I will look again.

I don't care who won. Just thought the waived off goal was bad.

Nice post season BTW.

Canucks have always said they wanted to model their team after Detroit sadly they modeled them after what you are not supposed to do.... Detroit was Detroit to the end. Congrats to them and the Hawks fans (blech) the conf finals are going to be freaking fantastic.

It was called on abby vs ducks. But the truth is the gwg was soft so. I'm OK with losing. We has a heck of a run.

Playoffs are a bitch. Nothing like the regular season play. If you don't come in and hit, play with extreme attitude, you lose. Why even sign samulsson and sit him? Where was White? and big, bad Bertuzzi? Holland, good luck next year, when Pavel leaves, u are up a shit creek.

Congrats to the Red Wings and their fans for an unbelievable series. All kinds of respect from Blackhawks fans giving our team everything and more that we could handle at times.

Hard fought Game 7 into OT. Hawks screwed royally on the disallowed goal, but get the hard fought win in OT.

Still saying, as always, the Blackhawks model their team after the Wings. Great organization, Babcock is phenomenal as coach and Howard is a stud goalie.

Good luck next year in the Eastern Conference. Here's hoping we meet again next year, but for the Stanley Cup.

I thought the cancellation call that lead to the no goal before OT was a very lucky break by the wings(if anything it should have been a call against Quincey). But I do believe the ref made the right call for what he thought the play should have been according the the rule book... even though he screwed over the Hawks(who eventually won anyways). For 2 canceling penalties the play should be blown dead right away, regardless of what happens after the play... EVEN THOUGH like i said, I think the wings(Quincey if anything) should have been the only one called for that play, even though the hawks did throw a punch in there...which is maybe why the ref called what he did? Either way we caught a break and lost in OT. Much deserved and well fought win by the Hawks tonight.

Even though Zetterberg scored a goal, I thought that Z/Dats/Franzen were relatively too quiet in game 7, where it might have cost them the game. I was drinking, but hardly saw any of them make an impact in the game(at least offensively). Maybe credit to the hawks... or they just couldn't sustain to carry the team after a great end of the season for all 3.

Mike Johnson totally pwned (do the kids still use pwned?) Dreger on the TSN panel discussing the Walkom call post-game. And why am I'm not surprised Dreger thought it was the right call (he's such a weasally defender of the league and officials).

Gotta protect that insider status right Darren?

Last night restored my faith in the hockey Gods. A broken play deflection off a skate from the blue line?

Yes. They made it right.

Now Walkom needs to be fired.
