Looking at CBC's replay, Walkom's biggest crime on that play was not even paying attention to what was happening in the offensive zone.

He definitely paid attention, IMO (from NBC feed replay).

He saw the goal and THEN looked down in front of him and started waving it off.

Which makes NO sense.
