10 per, though. I really like the guy, and he could do a lot for the offense, but it's too steep unless we were to renegotiate.

I saw something where that said the Eagles were looking for at least a 3rd round pick in return.

My opinion...Too much money.

Good hands and fast, but too much money.

Signing him IMO would be a waste. We signed LeFell who has potential and we need to give the second year guys a shot, WR is a tough transition from college to the Pros. If we have that kind of money makes more sense to me to sign Allen release Wilfork sign the best DT in round one and best TE in round two,

could be a great fit... more targets for Brady the better.... hate to see it but damn it could be really good if the price is right and his attitude is right but BB pretty much gets all that in check !

Pats and 49ers were the only two teams to respond to the Eagles. 49ers got out immediately after deciding they couldn't fit him without making a few personnel cuts. The Patriots on the other hand decided to try to do something. No official report has been written nor has anything been said by anyone reliable. Everything so far has been the so called "un-named source or source close to the action". I tend to believe that these two guys are Mister Know Nothin' and Mister I Started a Joke". Last thing I heard was that the Eagle wanted to up the ante because the Patriots offered a 4th round pick and the Eagles wanted a 2. Supposedly the Patriots countered with a 3rd Rounder but wanted Jackson and a 5th or 6th. Then it got out of hand because the same person who passed the original stuff said that Eagles wanted either Amendola or Mallett and a second for Jackson and a 4th round pick..............I stopped listening after that. Since nothing has been reported by Rappaport or Schecter or Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston........it would appear it's all pipe dreams and nothing has been done.

Jackson's salary is $10.25M for the next three years. If he were to come to the Patriots he'd have to spread that over 5 years as a guarantee and probably get $6.25M a year for the five, which I don't think he'd do.

Isn't it funny, the Jets who have a load of cash now have Vick and Vick is asking them to go after DeSean Jackson. As soon as word is out, the 49ers, Seahawks and Patriots are back being advertised as interested teams. The Jets will probably give the Eagles a second rounder and eat the contract........
