Top ,Quarterbacks supposedly available:

Tom Brady
Aaron Rogers
Lamar Jackson
Derek Carr
Jimmy Garappollo

If JG would be willing to come back to the Patriots, would BB bring him back on the cheap? They supposedly text each other daily. That scares me a bit.

How could anyone know the texting habits of either?

I think BOB has to decide on this. Far as I can see we are looking for a third QB meaning Mac is the starter, sure he could lose the job to Zappe or JG but typically when looking for a 3rd string QB you look further down the food chain.

It was a while ago.
Jimmy G might have given up on being BB's mistress by now.
not according to ken which started this nonsense:suds:

No. I'll take Zappe over Jimmy and possibly Mac if he stops being a ****.

And it's still being re-repeated. I do believe that these media guys have a lot of info that they "don't" pass along. But, stuff that's more than click bait and has been verified one of the participants, is always on the tip of someone's tongue.

Bill will have about $42M of space to spend on free agents. IMO, these are the guys I pray that he makes a Herculean effort to sign:

LT - Orlando Brown KC (5/$110M or $22M per) Cut Trent Brown and that pays $12M of it.
or
LT JaWaan Taylor JAX (5/$70M or $14M per)
RT Mike McGlinchey SF (5/ $75M or $15M per)
CB Steve Nelson PIT (5/$60 or $12M per)

Resign CB Johnathan Jones and move him to Safety (5/$60M or $12M per)

WR Ju Ju Smith Shuster KC (5/$40M or $8M per)
Edge Poona Ford SEA (5/$45M 0r $9M per)

I think, as much as I love O Brown, I'd go all in for Taylor and save the $8M for an extra FA signing like a Jarvis Landry or Alan Lazard and still have some leftovers to pay the 11 draft picks.

I would darn sure target McGlinchey and I have no issue with Taylor. I don't feel Smith Schuster is any better than what we have now so I would not be a fan of that.

He was outstanding in the Superbowl. Plus, he's a tall target. My guess is that he'll be sign8ing in Chicago or NYJ.

31 year old Bobby Wagner was released by the Rams yesterday. In 11 years, he averaged 140 tackles a year, 3 sacks a year and 1 INT. The Rams are so hard pressed against the cap tht they saved $5M by cutting him. I know he's oldbut would you consider him a solid MLB for the Patriots? Especially if BB could get him for $5-$7M? Maybe a 2 year $11M guaranteed?

I do not think BB would be averse to this. He has taken a vet with a year or two left in the past. Junior comes to mind

Bills kind of treasure.

EDIT: He has only missed one game due to injury in his career back in 2018. He's only 32.

Hell yes for a vet discount.
