I like Dawand Jones.
I know he is not the highest rated OL, but as a 2nd round pick.
He's huge and athletic with a nasty playing style, especially in the run game.
Agreed. I am all for gettin a top tier Tackle in FA then drafting a guy like this.

Even if we have to move up in the 2nd, we have the ammo, and use 14 on another need.
Unless the dude from GA or the other guy from Ohio are there.
Then double dip Oline!!! 1st and 2nd.

Again I would say it all depends on what we address in FA. If we land one T then I am down for a T in round 2 and IOL later on

I am all for getting Parish - do what it takes!
Then go bargain hunting.....

One mock I read had Paris to the Jets at 13 and Skoronski to Titans at 11.
Teams after us cleaned up on tackles remaining

Yeah if we wanted Parish I feel at #10 we need to make a move. Moving up four spots is easy with draft capital. I don't think you can include players in draft day trades.

..... to improve its position in the current or future drafts. Teams may negotiate trades at any time before and during the draft and can swap draft picks or current NFL players to whom they hold the rights.

I was unaware of that, for some reason I did not think you could include players in draft day trades. That being said if a top tackle is there and we need to move up to 10 from 14 a player and what a third? Not sure how the actual values work for 4 spots. Of course it depends on if the team at 10 is willing to trade and whom they may be interested in.

Another thing that can happen is Team A can make a deal with Team B. Team A drafts Player X at #8 and then trades him to Team B who has #15 and A also picks up a third rounder. (not sure of the math)

So draft their person and then swap players?

Not exactly. Pick up a pick because your guy has been taken and you don't want to pick the next guy that high. You trade down for the extra pick and the other team gets their guy and you get an extra pick or that team's #1 next year and a mid round pick.

During the first day of the NFL Draft, the Patriots and Raiders discussed the trade several times before reaching an agreement. Bill Belichick spoke with Moss for the first time about the possibility of joining the Patriots at 2:30 Sunday morning.Moss then boarded a plane and arrived in Boston later that morning on April 29 and was required to pass a team administered physical. Once he was cleared by Patriots officials, the teams completed a trade that sent Randy Moss to New England for a fourth-round selection in the 2007 NFL Draft. The Patriots had acquired the draft pick the previous day from the San Francisco 49ers, and the Raiders selected John Bowie.

So deals can be made prior to the draft that involve players and the draft. Hmmm

I think top priority is getting OT Brown. Do what you have to do and fix the o-line. Having 2+ seconds to throw is ridiculous. Not only for Mac but for any WR to get open in that short of time. With BOB loving to use TE’s, we can finally utilize Hunter and Jonnu. 2 more weapons that just didn’t get used under Skippy or Fat Pat.

Fix that O-line!

And throw in a productive/underused Bourne.
