Criticizing mods is counterproductive.
He made his point and if you don't like it, PM him.
Mods have a dificult job here - especially when popping in to a complaint without the history behind it.
Yes, he could go back over the last 5 years and find some history but the point is, we got carried away.

Let it die!

Oh no, you guys are going to get yourselves on double secret probation if you keep it up.

I on the other hand have my halo shining
Bottom line is debates occur, debates escalate to arguments, then you hope at least one person is adult enough to let it go, to stop responding.

Back to "Decisions".

As I look over the roster and the signings this off season, I began to ask myself, "Will Bill spend that kind of money?"

Orlando Brown - $25M per? NO!!
Mike McGlinchey - $16M per? NO!!
Jakobi Meyers - $13M per? NO!!

DeAndre Hopkins -$15M per? - NO!
Jerry Jeudy - $15M per? NO!

Odell Beckham Jr. - $9M - MAYBE!

Bill historically has slightly overpaid Special Teams players because he considers ST critical. But that's minor money. Gill does not believe in overpaying any single position and will walk away from anyone that wants huge money and will twist the Patriots salary structure. Considering the salary demands of Hopkins and Jeudy, it becomes very apparent that neither will be a Patriot in 2023.

OBJ is a totally different story. No one is interested in him at $11M per and with his injury history, $10M would be a stretch. "I" believe that Bill might offer him an incentive laden contract that starts at $7M with easy incentives to $9M and then $3M jumps for 100 receptions and 1000 yards receiving thatwould take him to $15M, but would be low risk and extremely high reward.

Some veteran Free Agent WRs that could be cheaper:

Parris Campbell
Jarvis Landry
Trent Sherfield
Julio Jones

Pats sign Left footed P Corliss Waitman. A lefty no surprise.

Does BB still look for one in the draft or UDFA?

Is everyone happy going into this season with Waitman as our punter?

Meh… not impressed. His punting average was 20th in the league. Kicking in Denver’s altitude, he should have been better than that. Built and looks like a WR. Maybe……. ;)
