I'll say this much...If there is one Yankee pitcher even the Rangers could hit its Phil Hughes. If they can't put some runs on the board against this chump, all the Matt Garzas in the world aren't gonna help you.

All I'm saying is that the offense needs to find a way to score a healthy amount of runs against a pitcher like Hughes. They won't have Yu, Ross, Scheppers, and Nathan pitching a shutout every day.

Hughes has a career 2.08 ERA against the Rangers. He's always pitched us well for whatever reason.
