Seems like Lakers could get something better in return for Hill than what the Mavs could offer. Doesn't he have a pretty friendly contract tho? Unless the Lakers are willing to fully rebuild I'm not sure they get rid of him and and the Lakers are always reluctant to use words like rebuild.

Holger was at the game last night and will be with the Mavs on their upcoming trip. It was about time.

They're gonna need all the help they can get when they're rolling out a PG rotation of JJ Barea and Raymond Felton.

In the 2nd round? Lol so who's beating them in the 2nd round? Mavs houston, clips? Lol

Anybody can take the west this year. Come playoff time it those 3's and jump shots won't come so easily nor will they consistently make them. GS may have the best record but I don't think they're necessarily the absolute clear cut favorite.

Bad defense and lack of effort on the defensive end especially on the perimeter hurts this team. These turnovers down the stretch are inexcusable as well

Sources say Mavs are very keen on Amare if he asks for a buyout and are becoming the favorites to land him. The Mavs are ready to make the necessary moves to accommodate O'Neal and Amare.

Obviously they're both past their prime but I think these would be great moves!

So when the hell is O'Neal eligible to sign? This story has been floating around for months. I don't understand the delay if he's a free agent.

Coaching his kids basketball team I believe

The best I can figure is that teams want to make as short of a commitment as they can to him because of his age, but you could run the risk of signing him too late and him never finding his game shape.

The last I heard was it was likely to happen during the All Star break, if at all. I'm not sure his knees are responding to the treatment
