Gonna check out my Bulls in Dallas tomorrow night. Hopefully cancelling practice was good for these guys on Tuesday. They seem a bit burnt out and not bringing their typical Chicago Defense in the last 2 weeks.

And also from Howard: "They (the Warriors) are playing great basketball right now. But what matters is what you do in the playoffs." LOL! Look in the mirror Dwight. That applies to you as well.

He obviously needs butthurt paste :pound:

Hopefully it was a terrible idea to cancel practice and they get run out of the gym.

Spurs didn't put up much of an effort it appears

They didn't. The Spurs look terrible. I'm not ready to say their reign is over yet, but it certainly appears to be very close. Pop will keep them competitive as long as possible though.

Told son in the 1st quarter that this looked like one of those games where we will get close then fall behind and get close and fall behind (you get the picture) and never lead. Just so happened it turned out that way.

We were killed on the boards tonight. It is ridiculous how many offensive rebounds the other team gets night in and night out. Dirk and Parsons had good games. And nice phantom call by the reg on Parsons with 37 seconds to go and shot clock winding down. Refs would let hard contact go but plays where no one was fouled were called fouls. That for both teams.

Rebounding is far and away their biggest weakness right now. Carlisle even said as much. That's pretty awful when you consider that they've got one of the better rebounding centers in the league and perhaps the best rebounding point guard in the league. Dirk ranks near the bottom for PF's and Monta is even worse among SG's. Those two particularly, but Parsons as well, need to put more effort into blocking out and hitting the glass. Acquiring a capable backup center wouldn't hurt either.

30 rebounds...that's pretty awful.

Very awful. I know they don't necessarily have the personnel to be a dominant rebounding team, but 30 rebounds speaks to a lack of effort if you ask me.

Mavs made their runs and final score was really close but the whole game I just thought Chicago outplayed Dallas all game without any question.

We definitely didn't deserve that one. We forced a lot of TO's but when you get killed on the boards it kind of evens out.

I'm not sure how the ref missed the foul on Devin Harris after Rose came up with the rebound. It was obvious and right in front of him. Instead they decided just to let the clock run out. I guess they were ready to go home.

Not sure how Rondo is normally and maybe this is just his personality but for some reason he does not seem too excited about being here.

They did a good job of moving the ball around and trying to exploit match-ups.

Ok Some things I saw:

Not much of rondo. And he wasn't in at the end.
Monte looked good. But butler and snell are huge. The bulls line up is huge and when Rose attacks you hard, this team is sick.

Back to the Mavs. Tyson looked good. But his back up from Stanford didn't. Mcpowell? I forgt. Parsons gets his but needs to get after it. Overall I didn't see a lot from rondo. Maybe he's waiting to turn it on?? I dunno

What Klay Thompson did last night in 1 quarter was crazy. Even would be crazy for an entire game. In 1 quarter he scored 37 points on 13-13 from the field with 9 of those being 3 pointers and 2-2 FTs. And some of those 3's were tough ones to knock down.
