Based on performance so far, I am good with Powell getting more time. Still would prefer adding a decent vet for depth behind TC

Not sure if you saw the play where Dallas took a shot and missed and there were 4 Minnesota players there to get the rebound and no Dallas players and all of the sudden from the top of the 3 point line Powell came flying in there and grabbed the offensive rebound and kicked it back out. The guy is cat quick.

yeah he made a couple great hustle plays and TC made a pretty nice one too

Don't know if you also saw the show after the game, they replayed something pretty cool. It showed TC coaching up Powell during one of the breaks, nice to have veteran leadership on the team willing to take time to coach up the young guys

No, I did not see that. Good on TC. Powell I hope is a keeper. The guy has some athleticism to him and as he gets more playing time he will continue to grow as a player.

I'm not saying if I had to do it over again I still wouldn't take him but my liking of Dwight Howard has totally deteriorated the last few years. While he has far more ability than TC I'm very glad Dallas has TC. Dwight is just such a douche.


Imagine if the Cuban plan actually did come to fruition of getting Dwight and Deron Williams? Either it would be different because it'd be a great environment and coach here or it'd just be a complete disaster especially with what Williams has become in Brooklyn.

The guy has range too. He's a good shooter. He needs to bulk up a little but that will happen in the off-season.
