Coots is really coming on and love his game rightnow. He has potential to be a fucking stud


Coburn as well has imo been the most solid d-man during November.

I guess we had to be patient but I am so pumped right now.

I want to add to this and say I had the same feelings about these two and was dead wrong. Hopefully the Flyers never listen to me about Coots and Cobie. Please keep your games at this level.

Coots has been playing incredible. Once his offensive game starts being consistent, damn he is going to be a special player for us. And for Coburn, he's been a joy to watch. It's not uncommon for defensemen to really find their game when they hit 27, 28 anyways, so it's encouraging. Really hoping Coburn can be that solid #2, #3 guy that can really be effective for us for the next couple of years

We were all frustrated early on but I made the point that on paper we were all happy with the lineup. This is why I was frustrated with all the fire everyone BS. I'm glad that you guys here man'd up because this teams starting to grow into what we thought they could be. How bout Mase? Yep bad trade first star. How bout Couts? Bad draft pick. How bout that bad D...I'm happy for Mez that was a play he made from a guy that was kicked to the curb. wow great effort! I'm going to have another rum it's been a long day but a good one!

I like Coburn and Simmonds grit. Outside of some boneheaded plays early on, they both have really come on.

Coburn has always had stretches where he's the team's best d-man, and others where he's the worst. This is probably just another stretch of the former, but let's hope it lasts as long as possible.

Couturier's offensive development may be more lasting, though. He's always been solid defensively, so I don't think he's a head case like Coburn.

Coots is really playing a complete game these days and its a welcomed sight now after the abismal start to the season.

And they get nicknames because nobody wants to (or can in some cases) spell couturier every time
