I have to admit I was kinda bummed when all the booing started..I thought they was booing the Bruins but then Thomas skated over and they cheered like crazy. Then I figured it out that they was booing the smurf.

I watched the game with a couple of Flyers fans. After Luongo's last save, the Vancouver fans gave him an applause (real). He said, "In Philly that wouldn't happen. We'd be collecting baseball bats and passing around his home address." Lol. Well done, Canucks.

My best friend who passed away in December of 2007 was a huge Bruins fan. To be honest, it's why I have a little bit of an empty feeling right now. His roommates still have 3 pictures that were his. One is Stanfield, Pie, and Bucyk sitting on the bench, one is Hodge and Cashman trying to score on Dryden, the other is Bourque and Espo at Espo's number retirement. All autographed with the exception of Dryden. Before the game, I went over and rubbed them for good luck. I think my buddy was looking down and gave the B's good luck. RIP Blake. I miss you much my friend.

Yes, same here. Even though I'm a Wings fan I spent a heck of alot of time on the Bruins board back when he was around. I miss him terribly. He was a great poster. Bet he's looking down now and smiling.

He used to freak me out all the time and come over to the Wings board to wish me a Happy Birthday. I still don't know how in the heck he knew when my birthday was, lol.
