I actually still have you on ignore, but I look from time to time, when I see you have commented on things I said, and yep, that's basically all you still do. You just shit on other people in here, never providing any humor or perspective of your own. But we're the trolls right?

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports the Cowboys will allow coach Mike McCarthy’s contract to expire.
It’s not an official firing, but the Cowboys’ decision not to re-up with McCarthy makes it clear they were only willing to retain him on their terms after a disappointing 2024. The split reportedly came down to a disagreement over the length of contract McCarthy should receive as the two sides attempted to hammer out a new deal, with his current one set to expire at the end of Tuesday. His dismissal comes moments after ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the possibility of the two sides moving on, but now it’s been made official. In his five seasons with the Cowboys, McCarthy led them to a 49-35 record while. He made the playoffs in three of his seasons and won 12 games in each year he made the postseason. Already believed to have a hot market, requests to interview McCarthy come quickly. The Bears are expected to still be interested in him after Dallas denied their request for an interview last week, and there have been rumors that the Saints would also be interested in speaking with the veteran head coach. If he wants to coach in 2025, it seems as if McCarthy will have no problem finding a job as he now becomes one of the top candidates on the market. While McCarthy is under contract through January 14th, the team has said he is free to speak with other teams immediately.

Unless some team is willing to immediately make McCarthy their HC, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he were to take a year or two break and join one of the major networks as a game analyst or something to that effect until another opportunity arises.

Pretty sure he's headed to your team

I mean the Cowboys handled this so badly. They could have gotten some compensation a week ago if Jerry simply let McCarthy interview with the Bears. If he left. Dallas could have went after Vrabel. Now I love the way the Boys handled this. I truly love Jerry running the show in D. And if he hires Deion yo be the next HC, lmao it will be the greatest circus. It's just mind-boggling how the Cowboy fanbase can deal with this continuously?
They really did. Now, they are behind the 8 ball in the search for a new HC since other teams have already started the process of looking for one.

Jerruh is such a dumbass.

McCarthy isn’t the reason the Cowboys had a bad year this year and I don’t think he’s the main one responsible for all of the issues in Dallas. Jerry‘s constant meddling and being a control freak is what has caused problems, unless Jerry dials it back I don’t think the Cowboys will ever get over the hump. I don’t think McCarthy is great but he’s not a bad coach either. Very curious to see who takes this job, as I think Jerry’s control makes it an unappealing position
ok.
1st off.
Jerry is always #1 on the list of whats wrong with the Cowboys.
So moving on from that. McCarthy absolutely sucked as a "Head Coach"
We got out coached by any team with even remotely decent coach. We couldnt adjust & put the players in position to fail. He failed at every part a HC should improve at.
I dont know how jerry is going to piss me off with the next hire. I just know he is.
But McCarthy gets no credit for being a good HC in Dallas.

None!!!

McCarthy led you guys to the playoffs 3 years in a row. That’s a bit better than “absolutely sucking”.

we had a playoff caliber team at that point. imagine if we had a good HC?
Barry Switzer won a Superbowl & he sucked as a HC.

So those comments arent that simple or black & white.
