McCarthy isn’t the reason the Cowboys had a bad year this year and I don’t think he’s the main one responsible for all of the issues in Dallas. Jerry‘s constant meddling and being a control freak is what has caused problems, unless Jerry dials it back I don’t think the Cowboys will ever get over the hump. I don’t think McCarthy is great but he’s not a bad coach either. Very curious to see who takes this job, as I think Jerry’s control makes it an unappealing position

i would love for this to be true, and should be... but unfortunutly there are articles saying the opposite. I think many Cowboy fans would love to see the team interest drop, popularity ect. Then Jerry would make changes.

The NY Post ran a story today ranking the Dallas job at the top, a hair above the Jacksonville job. Aikman is right but he isn't stating the opinion from a coaches point of view, not all coaches...but most jump at this job.

Besides...Jerry hasn't hired a good coach since his best friend dumped his ass.

Cowboys HC job will always be tops in all of sports, problem is the owner refuses to get out of the way. As long as he's calling the shots I don't think Dallas gets back to the promise land.

I think I read that Rex Ryan had a decent record for an NFL head coach.

I don't think Jerry signs Deion. He would draw way too much attention to himself and away from Jerry. And we all know how much Jerry craves attention.
