Other than his rookie year and maybe the 2019 season when he had 16 picks, I wouldn’t call any of Goff’s seasons “subpar” - he’s been anywhere from decent to very good. He’s been very good the last 2 years, a top 5 QB in the NFC for sure.Goff has had 4 very good seasons and 3 sub-par seasons in the last 7 years. He's a very good QB with a low floor. If he drags a below average team down rather than elevates it, pfff so what? If you want to lose with nice stats get Kirk Cousins.
