I had Alabama crowned champion before Oregon. Sorry (no I'm not), hating ohio state is in the blood. We did learn a few things from the playoff:

I don't know about that, I think it was good. Bama lost to a good team at the time they played. Oregon list to a good team and got to avenge the loss convincingly. FSU deserved to be in by being undefeated in a P5.

Just my thoughts:
1. I thought TCU was one of the top 4
2. Regardless of that, at a minimum 4 of the top 5 played for a title
3. Winning 2 games against that field proves you championship quality.. End of story

Right but I think even in hindsight the rankings were correct. tOSU proved they were better but they didn't earn a #1 ranking before those games.

In hindsight Ohio St is the #1 team and thus if they had correctly listed the teams Ohio St it would have been:

#1 Ohio St vs #4 FSU
#2 Alabama vs #3 Oregon

But the odds of them getting the order right are pretty slim and it's not a big deal at all.
