I've always liked him, he works hard and has tons of speed. Jackets fans looked down on him because he isn't much of a finisher. He'd get tons of breakaway chances and never score. Use him as a defensive nuisance and he's gold.

Sucks to see him go, but when you have a choice between him and Mathieu Olivier, you always hold onto Olivier. IF YOU'RE A FUCKING MORON

Fantilli’s part of the lost generation of Toronto hockey fans who never saw a good Leafs team. If you’re one of those kids who follows their old man’s team there wasn’t much the home team did to change your mind during that time.

When I started working in the late 2000s/early 2010s the middle aged guys who watched hockey all said their kids were Pens fans or Caps fans etc. because of Sid/Ovi, some were B’s fans around the time of their Cup, Hawks etc.

The damage that era did to the Leafs may very well hurt the team in a few years when they start relying on that generation to be the sucker fans and they’re all ambivalent.
