Yes Dak does suck but I'm sure he can manage to throw 10 yd crossing patterns. You tend to overrate Beasley.
I could easily say same about you and Cobb, and it would be a lot more truthful. More than likely had Cobb not been a Packer you wouldn't care if he signed with Dallas.

good signing. Although it seems odd that they would keep both hurns and cobb. That is lots of money for two backups. Maybe they have bigger plans for Cobb, but every season they sign these bargains and never use them. Maybe this was vanillahans fault though.

A Grade:

This is fairly easy. Cobb will be 29, but he is still a talented < 30 WR who provides a key replacement for Beasley. A 1 year prove it contract was 100% appropriate for Cobb given his injury history, and $5M is hardly a detriment. Cobb has only ever hit 1,000 yards once.. but that's attributed to cry baby Rodgers and Mike "I have no clue what I'm doing and am just leeching a HOF QB" McCarthy.

This is a no brainer signing, helps the Cowboys, and if Cobb can stay healthy this is clearly upside. I wouldn't bank on Cobb being a savior at the WR position, but there's little risk and a good chunk of upside if he's stays healthy.

You should, as you're a Packers fan.

They could cut Hurns and save $5M. I haven't seen the details on Cobb's contract yet. Quite possible only one of them makes the team, especially if they draft a WR.

Decent pickup for Dallas, Cooper and Cobb are a good 1/2 at WR.

Cobb had some pretty decent seasons, highlighted by that topnotch 2014. His career has been on kind of a downhill trajectory ever since, with injuries being a key factor in his decline. I like his versatility tho and he assuming he's healthy this year, should be a positive, if limited factor in the Cowboy's offensive success.
