well yeah.
I was more talking of the college rules people, but pretty sure this has been answered now.

Those crappy rules are pretty much out the window as the players can finally make money. No more of that "Student Athletes can't profit" bullshit.

Yeah, Cali passed it first, but I'm pretty sure the NCAA opened it up as they (correctly) saw that it was coming down the line nationally.

definitely would have been unfair advantage in recruiting if they didnt match.

Coach Prime will compete for skill players right outta the gate, but what about oline guys?

Five more players from Alabama, all offensive players, entered the transfer portal Monday. Offensive linemen Tommy Brockermeyer, Amari Kight and Damieon George and receivers Christian Leary and JoJo Earle all put their names in the portal. Brockermeyer was ESPN's No. 2 overall recruit in 2021. Earle, No. 73 in the 2021 ESPN 300, had 12 receptions for 155 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Tide this season. Leary had one catch for 6 yards. Earlier Monday, six other Crimson Tide players, including receiver Traeshon Holden and OL Javion Cohen, entered the portal, bringing Alabama's total to 11.

Yes, but it had to be on the DL. There was a problem there. That was shady shit. Now they can at least get legal endorsements.
They got a stipend and a free college degree. Unless we as a society are going to say a college degree isn’t worth anything.

Most top players are not attending college for their degrees. And for the ones that are, the billions that the NCAA rakes in, while they can't fly the kids back home to attend a funeral was pretty insulting.
