I would have to agree with Garrett simply for the reversed season record.

As for losing his starting QB though, that's like saying the same about Brady replacing Bledsoe.

At this point, Prescott's simply an upgrade.

My problem with Garrett is the way Dallas appears to be trending right now.

The wrong direction.

The last 3 games have been sort of iffy.

As opposed to coming on strong like NE and KC.

Not sure if its been mentioned, but Adam Gase is the runaway winner for me here, with Garrett a pretty distant second

Del Rio has done a nice job, but tons of folks had the Raiders as a postseason dark horse this season

I think Andy Reid could get some love also

And have to acknowledge a guy ive always thought was terrible - Jim Caldwell

But anyway, who the hell had Miami on the cusp of a playoff spot?

I think he's turned Tannehill into a competent QB

He started to get that defense to play up to the names on their jerseys

He wisely realized Ajayi was the guy to lean on

Miami is hard to figure out fully in the rankings because they are coming off the worst coach in the league to one thats actually pretty good. Was Miami always really talented and did they just have an awful coach or is the new guy legitimately bringing a lot to the table?

Raiders are about 2 wins ahead of where I thought they'd be but after seeing the playcalling against the Chiefs I have to think that Del Rio is going to play his way out of the conversation.

I think Miami had a talented roster, but always thought the guy playing the most important position was a huge mistake waiting to happen, and Gases' work with him is most impressive to me, and mostly the reason they have become a threat

Funny thing about Del Rio, is that I think he is worthy, but I also could see him being a guy that will lose the Raiders a huge game in a month because of his gun slinging ways

That was a great game against the Ravens. ;) To be fair, he's certainly been great for the Dolphins but both Reid and Del Rio have done the same if not more for their teams, particularly Del Rio.

The Raiders and Chiefs aren't just relevant again, they are fighting for the top spot in the AFC.

Coach of the year has to be Garrett. Team was 4-12 last year and they have the best record in the NFL. Doing this with a rookie QB and RB.This was an easy one.

Sleeper picks: Jack Del Rio Oakland and Andy Reid KC

Andy Reid

Best coach in the league outside Belichick and Belichick's division is a joke.

So why can't he win a Super Bowl? Not saying he is a bad coach by any means but some of his in game decisions in my opinion have cost his team playoff games. He seems to have his team winning most of the time so yes he deserves consideration but if you can't get it done when it is needed most that has to knock a coach back a bit.

Donovan McNabb chokaholic. He'll get one in KC.

Well he now has Alex Smith so not sure that is a huge upgrade in that department. We saw last year where they were down by 2 scores and instead of going hurry up they just slowly drove the ball down the field. That isn't the QB's fault that is coaching. He should have known better and that isn't his first time of struggling with clock management that has cost his teams games.

Again he is a good coach I'm just not sure he is the type of coach that helps a team get over the hump.

The bad coaching in that game was getting down two scores. Smith is a big upgrade. Wish they could have been switched back then.
