To me that is the best measuring stick. When you have a team that goes 4-12 loses their starting QB in preseason, starts a rookie QB and RB and has that huge turnaround. he deserves it or Quinn. Please don't tell me you have Belichick in the mix?

It's flawed, so next here he won't qualify simply because he had a good year this year?

I could coach the Pats to a good record with Brady, that offense, that defense Mc Daniels as OC and Patricia as DC

Well deserved award for Garrett. Was it even close?

Of course not, but tougher to win. You guys will argue anything. It's very hard to compare coaches of different teams and see who did best. So you have to look at how they did versus how they were expected to do as part of it. Not all, but part

Not much of a complaint but usually when a team wins too many awards then somebody is overrated or else the team would go undefeated. I think in context, though, having 2 OROYs isnt the same as having 2 MVP candidates so there is a good chance that everyone is being properly rated even if Garrett did not have a very good track record going into the season.

Good choice for the Coach of the Year. I didn't think it was that tough of a choice this season compared to some in the past. He met pretty much every criteria and beyond of what we usually see in a coach who wins this award.

only because that 56 yarder was good.

poor ass coaches call in that situation if he misses

oh well.....

more on how they finished the season and not during the playoffs

I will admit, he made some gutsy\stupid calls in both post season games which is very unlike his conservative self

I'd give it to Rodgers, Mcmuffin is just holding this team back while Rodgers has to call his own plays at the line. Mcmuffin wouldn't be a starting coach in the NFL if it wasn't for having Rodgers and Favre save his fat ass.

I'm ok with Garrett but I also think it should include the entire season and voting should be after it's completed.
