Bill in Bangkok from HH wrote up a piece prior to the Steelers game that had me agreeing...
‘However, Ron Rivera has stressed conditioning, mental toughness and teamwork since his arrival in Washington. The Steelers are playing on 5 days’ rest while Washington has gone 11 days between contests. There’s good reason to believe that Washington can win the last 15-minute stanza against a Steelers team that is ranked 2nd in scoring defense, but just 12th in scoring offense in the 4th quarter of games this season.
If the game is close at the end of the 3rd quarter, Rivera’s team needs to use what they’ve learned in the first 11 games of the season to close this one out with a winning effort down the stretch.’

An incredibly inspiring and ‘real cancer talk’ interview by John Keim, with our main guy RR. So worth a listen. I love the line RR says, ‘We HAVE to take care of each other’
I feel like this is a big part of of what has driven, inspired and motivated our TEAM this year.
I felt the TEAM shift early this season...part of what drove me to create this thread. I believe we are seeing the transformation of a bunch of scrappy guys, granted some with a huge pedigree, but many players with none... into a professional ass FOOTBALL TEAM (pardon the pun, lol)

RR was on the Dan Patrick show a couple of days ago and Dan said "Coach, I understand that you scored a TD during your playing career with the Bears, can you tell us about that?" RR said "Sure, Richard Dent created the fumble and it bounced up right into my bread basket and I had to take the ball all the way down the field for 4.5 yards and I still have that ball." Then Dan asked him "If you could bring one player from that Bears team to your current team who would it have been." RR answered "That's easy, Mike Singletary, because he made everyone who played with him better including me."
