It's a miracle Kershaw was able to win a Cy Young award a couple years ago on this pathetic baseball team. The Dodgers have never, and I mean NEVER, given Kershaw any run support. If he had just received the league average offensive support over his career he would have an additional 50 wins for his career.
This year he'll finish with an ERA under 2.00 and a win/loss record below .500. Just wait. After the Dodgers lose 1-0 tonight he'll be 3-4 with an ERA of 1.30. He's on his way!
It's just a joke. He's so good and deserves so much better. If he stays on the Dodgers he'll never again pitch in the post season. A player as good as Kershaw deserves to pitch in the post season.
His career is going to waste. He'll never be given the opportunity to be one of the great ones if he stays with the Dodgers. He'll simply be known as one of the best pitchers with an average win/loss record on teams that never did anything.
