I didn't say they "couldn't" replace them...I said they "didn't" replace them.

Martin might be a good defensive/shitty hitting catcher...but he's still better than Cervelli and Stewart...that's more of a reflection on Cervelli and Stewart than Martin...

I never said anything about Jones...

I was commenting on trying to replace the production that Ibanez and Chavez gave the Yankees...so far? Wells has been more than adequate...based on 3 years of sampling? It won't last...

so far, you look mighty stupid

Yes, we count guys that Boston dummies like Down predicted the Yankees couldn't replace

Can't have it both ways

I'm just asking for examples of the career rejuvinations that happen when the pinstripes are donned.... You're not giving me much to work with.

Last night's Yankees/B Jays game:

The game drew 31,445, the fourth time this month a record low has been set at new Yankee Stadium, which opened in 2009.

Aren't the red sox failing to sell out baseball's smallest stadium?

Almost as stupid as you look concluding the Sox would be better off with Beckett over Dempster...

And how is that "more talented" Dodger team doing compared to Boston?

Don't blame me that you dont know the insanely important role a guy like graeme Lloyd played in the 96 postseason run

Or the importance of a steve Howe in 94 or 95

No bullshit, do the Celtics have a chance tonight for real? I've wasted two nights cheering for those fuckers in vain...

The New York Jets have made calls to multiple teams Friday to try to move up from the 39th overall pick, seventh in the second round, to draft a quarterback, league sources tell ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
The Jets used both of their first-round picks on defense, taking cornerback Dee Milliner from Alabama ninth overall and defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson four picks later.
New York debated taking West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith at No. 13 before settling on Richardson. Smith was widely considered to be a first-round pick.
