Chad Curtis was the same scrub in NY that he was in detroit

Andruw Jones? He was fucking terrible, and his OPS dropped only about 150 points from 2011...

Russell martin? Terrible..and far worse than he was as a dodger early in his career.

You are definitely right on some of these. Paul O'Neill wasn't one of them, though. That was just a good trade for the Yankees. Nobody deemed him useless/washed up.

P.S. This theory hasn't worked for any of the 2004 Red Sox WS winners who played in NY subsequently.
