Wade Boggs
Ichiro
Steve Howe
Graeme Lloyd

Boggs's 4 years in NYY: .809 OPS

the 4 years prior to NYY: .822 OPS

Ichiro? LOL...."Look how great Wells and Hafner have been so far this year, but ignore how fucking horrible ichiro is"

Howe and Lloyd..."NYY Strength Honor and tradition. Getting anomalous seasons from middle relievers for 30 years"

Wasn't Cody Ross like the world Series MVP the year before he landed in Boston?

I said the highly paid mercenaries are the exception.

Paul oneill
Mariano Duncan
Chad Curtis
Charlie Hayes
Raul ibanez
Andrew jones
Russ Martin
Travis Hafner
Vernon wells
Eric Chavez

Remember the rule. Other teams deem them useless and washed up, come to NY and exceed all expectations

Wow, we're counting Jones, Chavez and Ibanez? That is your definition of "exceeding all expectations?"

Wow, you don't ask for much...

Down

Are you suggesting all the players you said the Yankees would be able to replace this season, were all shitty now?

That doesn't make much sense Bucky

I didn't say they "couldn't" replace them...I said they "didn't" replace them.

Martin might be a good defensive/shitty hitting catcher...but he's still better than Cervelli and Stewart...that's more of a reflection on Cervelli and Stewart than Martin...

I never said anything about Jones...

I was commenting on trying to replace the production that Ibanez and Chavez gave the Yankees...so far? Wells has been more than adequate...based on 3 years of sampling? It won't last...

Down is terrible at this game.

Can we have the 2012 Ichiro numbers for the mariners

And his numbers as a Yankee

No...he was here in 2012...he was the 2010 NLCS MVP....

And he wasn't resigned by the Giants...and signed in Boston for the hefty price tag of 1 year $3m...the textbook definition of getting "dumped" if I ever heard one...

He then came to Boston where he earned a 3 year $28.5m deal with Arizona...and promptly went right back to sucking ass....

Last night's Yankees/B Jays game:

The game drew 31,445, the fourth time this month a record low has been set at new Yankee Stadium, which opened in 2009.

Yes, we count guys that Boston dummies like Down predicted the Yankees couldn't replace

Can't have it both ways

I thnk Cervelli and Stewart have almost duplicated Russ martins 2012 on April 26th
