As I have sat here at work perusing the interwebz, I happened on something I did not think about (this happens quit often) and that is that when Clark gave up the strip sack, he was pretty much gassed and had been leaning on Beadles. He played well against a decent pass rusher and couple weeks of game time will help hopefully getting him into game shape. Then he gets his real test against Ware. Just some food for thought.
