It really is quite depressing that the vote on Tuesday is going to be as close as the polls suggest. I mean, BIden is no ideal candidate by any means, but at least he is a decent human being and has empathy for the struggles of average Americans. How anyone could vote for the jackass currently in the White House is beyond me, all he wants is adulation from the masses while providing nothing in return. I stayed home and watched 4 episode of Sons of Anarchy.
Ate the candy that I had purchased just in case we have trick or treaters. (we did not)

We actually had a lot. We were surprised, we ran out of candy. We put a few pieces in baggies and set it all up at the end of the driveway on a table. Put some beers in a cooler under the table for the mommies and daddies (ran out of those too) and stayed up in the garage waving and talking to people. It was a bit weird how that filled in for human contact.

Gustafson said her office was still resisting adopting the federal government’s COVID Alert smartphone app but the office was looking for online tools that would be more helpful.

She said the app could not provide meaningful information – like when the exposure occurred and for how long – and needed to be improved.

So basically "well we have nothing but nothing is better than something. Also our cases are spiking but we still won't mandate mask-wearing like literally every other place on the continent that isn't a redneck looneybin has done."

My 91 year old aunt in italy (the one who looks like bob mackenzie) got covid. She was already in a care home because she has dementia. The virus was brought into the care home by staff who work at multiple care homes. You would think this wouldnt be allowed by now almost a year into the pandemic. She was moved to a special hospital 150 kms away from all our family because that was the closest hospital with space. She was in the icu for a week and amazingly recovered and was sent back to her care home yesterday

So after 3 negative covid tests in 3 days she was sent back to her care home last Monday. On Wednesday morning she was diagnosed with post covid pneumonia and the covid made her too weak to fight further. She died friday. She was 5 foot 10 and was down to 95 pounds. Thankfully my 4 cousins were able to be with her when she passed. Rip zia
