Irsay got to some asst coaches and key players and got it handled. Caldwell was just a fill in, but performed well in helping coach Ravens over Denver /SF and nice start at Detroit. Please dont be so naive

I agree but I doubt many who are aruging about this actually saw the games to know this was just a 'Suck for Luck' season for the Colts.

No I have said it repeatedly that he is one of the best ever and first ballot HOF, but funny when he" carries bad teams on his back" He has always had great talent around him, Faulh, Edge, Harrison,Wayne 4 guys that are/ will be in HOF and Mathis/Freeney on D and now plenty on both with Denver. Big flaw is gets rattle quickly and makes crucial mistakes in big games. Not his fault how he reacts under presssure. Prob mostly on him, because he tries to do too much, while ELi is opposite, kinda of like he doesnt care, and is big in playoffs and SB.

Dallas Clark was Manning product. He nothing before playing with Manning and nothing after playing with Manning.

And he doesn't make that many mistakes in big games. It's entirely overblown.

In the playoffs Manning is 5-6 (.455) with a passer rating of at least 85.0. He has been at least 88.3 in each of his last five playoff losses.

When your defense allows a fourth-quarter comeback 60 percent of the time (6-4), you have a real problem. It is one thing to let Drew Brees do it, but when it’s Jay Fiedler, Billy Volek, Mark Sanchez and Joe Flacco? That is completely unacceptable.

It's really not a debate when the majority of owners, general managers, coaches, players, TV "experts" and fans choose Luck over Wilson.....and by a significant margin.

Which players are those? The only player that I've heard publicly make the comparison is a defender who played them both in 3 weeks, and if you watch the interview, you can see he's convinced who is better. Then there's the players that voted for the top 100, they voted Wilson higher too.

Wilson to this point, has been more impressive than Luck both record wise and statistically. He's also had the best team in the league around him which is why I still would take Luck over Wilson if I was starting a team from scratch right now.

This. The Colts were a flawed team for years and years. Manning covers up a lot of issues on your team. Combine that with the fact that Caldwell just isn't a good coach and that equals 2-14.

Part of this debate is that it falls into so many areas,for one every analyst predicted Luck to be once in a generation QB and sang praise of him before he even threw a pass even so far as stating he will bring you a SB!.

Now Wilson,he was too short etc etc and people even here i bet laughed when Seattle picked him and the analysts even laughed when PC said he was going to start him,fact is is that the analysts all have egg on their faces and it is in black and white and video of what they said so they will pump up Luck no matter what.
