Who cares about some mvp race 4 weeks into the year? This is like mentioning baseball cy young race at the end of may. Luck has been sensational and this will be by far his best season

I have zero doubt that if Luck was on the Seahawks his numbers would be more impressive than they are while playing for a mediocre team. Luck has been forced to carry the team for the majority of his 2+ seasons with lesser talent while Wilson hasn't for the most part hasn't had to. You really can't compare the stats when their situations are totally different.

You may be right.

When you compare Luck's team to Tannehill's team, they are very similar. As such, Tannehill has better numbers than Luck does.

Tannehill > Luck (in real numbers, not potential)

Luck put up vastly superior numbers to Wilson this past weekend.

Tannenhill
2012- 58% comp, 3294 yds, 6.8 per throw, 12tds, 18 turnovers.
2013- 60% comp, 3913 yds, 6.6 per throw, 24 tds, and 23 turnovers
2014- 60% comp, 902 yds, 5.8 per throw, 6 tds, & 4 turnovers

Luck

2012- 54% comp, 4374 yds, 7 yds per attempt, 23 tds, & 27 turnovers
2013- 60% comp, 3822 yds, 6.7 per attempt, 23 tds, & 14 turnovers.
2014- 69% comp, 1305 yards, 7.8 per attempt, 13 tds, & 4 turnovers.

Tannenhill was never better than luck. The only year you can debate were their rookie years but luck still win that battle when you analyze the numbers

Someone was being sarcastic Tannenhill couldn't shine Lucks shoes. There only a handful of QB's that are currently better but that can change in future seeing this is only his 3rd season.

As of now, there are about 5-6 quarterbacks who are better than Luck. After this year, there will probably only be 2.

I can agree with that Rodgers will be one and Manning if he can keep it up . I think Brady and Brees might be on back 9

Luck does have a pretty cake schedule. I could see some of his numbers being in the top 3.

That team has basically no chance at the Lombardi this year though, so whatever. :noidea:

He still had better stats than Gino Smith. Then again, so did I

Smith looked really good, I thought, last week. This week he went back to being dreadful.

Smith was terrible last week too. His turnovers are obscene. Leads the league in pick 6's the last 2 years. He's a lot like Russell Wilson if you removed Wilson's brains, talent and ability to scramble
