I too can find hundreds of articles that say luck is better, but I'm not interested in convincing naive homers that have nothing better to do but use a 500 post thread proving their massive inferiority complex. ..

So the sports writers that write these articles are naive homers with an inferiority complex? As for this being a 500 post thread, well you are probably good for about 4 pages worth yourself.

You seem more interested in just cheerleading your man.

Me? Cheerleading? Oh boy.....how ironic! It doesn't take much to rile up you fanboys....enjoy your Lombardi and we'll enjoy the better QB...k?

Part of this debate is that it falls into so many areas, for one every analyst predicted Luck to be once in a generation QB and sang praise of him before he even threw a pass even so far as stating he will bring you a SB!.

Now Wilson,he was too short etc etc and people even here i bet laughed when Seattle picked him and the analysts even laughed when PC said he was going to start him, fact is is that the analysts all have egg on their faces and it is in black and white and video of what they said so they will pump up Luck no matter what.

Watching the GOAT for nearly two decades, I am convinced will go down as one, if not the, all time greats. While Wilson may be a good QB, I think he's just another Warren Moon

I am glad that you are happy with you're teams QB but every Hawk fan is just gravy with their 3rd round pick 75th overall.

These players that think Wilson is better (you know, the ones who know better than anyone), are they just Seahawk homers?

Lombardi.
24-8 Regular season record. 14-18 the previous 2 seasons without Wilson. 19-29 the previous 3.
4-1 Post-Season Record. 20 point comeback to take lead in ONLY playoff loss. That loss is on the D.
Intangibles out the Kazoo........yes I said Kazoo.
Tangibles as good as many/if not all, except that shitty 5'10 number people can't get over.
Could be the most effective running QB in league right now. Not fastest, not most athletic. EFFECTIVE.
Bottom 10 for sure in O-Line Quality. Yet Wilson overcomes.......Again.
Post-Season 6-1 TD-Int
102.4 and 101.6 Post-Season QB rating.
100.0 and 101.2 and 108.9 Regular Season QB rating. Can you say CONSISTENT. I can.
Home and Away Splits for QBR favor Home games just slightly.
Seattle could NOT win on the road, until RW came along.
Started out as ROOKIE 1-5 on Road. After tough start, 9-5 road record since.
He's 5'10...........shit again, you got me.
Lost to Luck on the road, RW 312 total yards, Luck 238 total yards. Defense played shitty.
RW career 58/20 TD/Int ratio of 2.9:1 Luck career 52/35 TD/Int ratio 1.49:1
That may friends is a 2:1 TD/Int ratio advantage to the short guy, RW over Luck. enough said.

GB fans thought just like you with Favre 15 seasons and 1 title. Real good in reg season, and bonehead mistakes in playoffs. I'll take the guy with ice in his veins , who will throw it away, to live another day, then throw it to the other team.

Wilson has more touchdown passes despite having nearly 450 fewer pass attempts than Luck. And he also has a Y/A a full yard higher.

And he doesn't even get to pad those tds by playing the jags and titans twice a year.

Luck is coming into his own. He is going to have a comp% of about 65 and throw between 35-40 tds and may throw close to 5,000 yards

Wilson may not be better than Luck, but he is just as good & has the hardware to back it up.

Would I take Wilson over Luck? No.

Luck might finally be living up to his potential this year as he is off to a great start. But he as impressive as the last two weeks have been it has been against Tennessee and Jacksonville.

To this point, all of the chest thumping and nut licking about Luck has largely been based on his potential and not his actual output, which at times has been impressive and at other times not so much.

This sums up the Andrew Luck story perfectly so far in his career

Edit: Well, maybe it would only be "perfect" if someone drew a gross neckbeard all over that quote

I have zero doubt that if Luck was on the Seahawks his numbers would be more impressive than they are while playing for a mediocre team. Luck has been forced to carry the team for the majority of his 2+ seasons with lesser talent while Wilson hasn't for the most part hasn't had to. You really can't compare the stats when their situations are totally different.
