Well if Luck could just hand the ball off the entire game and throw for 108 yards, I'm sure the Colts would've won....lol

That Saints game is a perfect example. Horrible passing conditions. Seahawks got out to an early lead and sat on the football. Wilson didn't make any mistakes and the Saints weren't able to muster much offense until very late.

Luck has not allowed the Colts to do that in the playoffs because of dumb early mistakes.

This is one of those arguments I try to stay away from. Because I like to use Facts and Stats, and when I point to Russels numbers being all time great for a second year qb, people tell me, well it doesn't matter because of whats around him.

It also is like the best corner debate. The last two years Sherman has had by far the best stats (fewest thrown at plus most ints and little completion against percentage) But im told it doesn't matter cause he doesn't travel.

It's tiresome, So I just sit back and tell myself fine. give them their argument, ill sit back and watch my championship team try to be the first team since NE to go back to back.

There's nothing to debate.....it's Seahawk fans vs. everyone else.

This debate was brought up by ESPN and it's even on the NFL website... Ups once again living in your fantasy world I see... But hey maybe in your mind everyone in the world is a Seahawks fan hell I don't know...

It's really not a debate when the majority of owners, general managers, coaches, players, TV "experts" and fans choose Luck over Wilson.....and by a significant margin.

If you want to use rushing stats and team defense for excuses for Luck vs Wilson then you should check out how Ryan Tannehill compares to Luck last year too.

Player Luck Tannehill Winner

Attempts 570 588 Tannehill
Comp. 343 355 Tannehill
Comp % 60.2 60.4 Tannehill
Yards 3822 3913 Tannehill
TDs 23 24 Tannehill
Int's 9 17 Luck
rate 87 81.7 Luck

Team Defense: Indy ranked 20th, gave up 357 yds/game and 21 points per game
Miami ranked 21st, gave up 359 yds/game and 20.9 points per game

Team rushing: Indy ranked 20th and averaged 108.9 yards per game
Miami ranked 26th and averaged 90 yards per game

So using your logic that you apply to Wilson: Tannehill should be considered a better QB than Luck because he has nearly identical or in many case better stats on a bad team with no supporting cast. Tannehill has a worse defense and is on a team with a far worse running game than Luck. So Tannehill is better than Luck right? Of course I don't think that way but you can definitely line up the same excuses for Tannehill that you are giving to Luck but I doubt anyone would believe Tannehill is better.

The point here is that if Luck is so superior to Wilson and the only reason his numbers aren't as good is because his defense and lack of running game are holding him back, then why does Ryan Tannehill have better numbers than Luck on a team that is arguably worse than the Colts? If Luck isn't better than Tannehill then he sure isn't better than Wilson (using your logic of course).

Tannehill is the exact reason why we don't use statistics to measure a QB.....lol

Give it up already. Just accept the fact that Wilson plays 2nd fiddle to Andrew Luck! :)

What logic? He's too busy slurping up Luck's hairy ballsack to even address the points people are making.

It is hilarious when people on the internet just state crap and expect everyone to accept it as fact. This manningtoluckjelly fool certainly considers himself a masterdebater!

It's all good. I want people to keep doing it for another five or six years.

I dunno.....I've seen black QBs come into these league and have success early on in their career....especially when they don't have to put a subpar team on their shoulders. To me, what makes a QB elite is when they can make everyone around them better and take subpar garbage teams places they have no business being. The 4 elite QBs (Manning, Brady, Brees, Rodgers) have showed to consistently do that and Luck has proven it too.

As a Jet fan I one day hope to be able to have a "My QB is better than yours...." argument rather than the "My QB isn't the worst in the sport..." one
