The Catch
Completely forgot about this dude.
The vibe I am getting was Mitchell was freelancing a bit too much. Hence Acker starting over him.I'm going to wear my Jurassic Park shirt to the next game I go to and see if anyone gets it
I can't say this is surprising but man, I'm not expecting much. I thought Mitchell would be better than this.
Chiefs need a true outside guy with their first pick in the upcoming draft. Nelson ain't bad as an outside guy in base, but he's pretty good in the slot and if he's in the slot... You have to put a bum on the field as it stands currently. I really don't think we're that far away as far as contention goes, but we could use a decent draft to lengthen the defense out some. Chiefs rebalanced most of their roster to offense and the depth on defense has caught up to that fact.
Hahahahah
*deep breath*
Hahahahahahahaha
Yeah, this isn't going to be good I am guessing. Here I was hoping Jalen Collins would be a Chief. Revis is a guy you sign because he basically already knows the scheme and for culture fit. (Sutton was Rex Ryan's DC in NY IIRC)
Supposedly he weighs 208, and according to him he weighed "way more" his last year with the Jets.this is pretty surprising. not just that the chiefs have been "trying all season" to sign him, but that he actually eventually accepted a deal.
i wonder how far off his phsyical conditioning currently is. . .
$10 mil? Seriously? Clearly he doesn't want to play next year...that was just a number to get him off the couch.
And... money he'll never see.
Yeah, that's pretty much how I took it too. Maybe another hint they're dead set on moving Alex given their limited cap room; but the likelihood of Revis being an all pro again is what? 1%?$10 mil? Seriously? Clearly he doesn't want to play next year...that was just a number to get him off the couch.
For sure that is $ he'll never see. I wonder what the incentives were to get him off the couch now?
And... money he'll never see.
