I give him an A for effort in trying to get Stafford, but he didn't want to come here and he's what 33. The guy from Ol Miss is intriguing, and there is Watson. Some guy from Costal Carolina seems to be flying up the board.

At 33 Stafford wasn't coming here because I suspect for him that would have been kind of a lateral move. I will give RR credit for what appears to be an effort to get him. Matt Corral is an interesting prospect but he's a second round talent that will have to sit and learn. @dad likes Liberty's QB Malik Willis, who is also on that level, but I'm not sure of him either because he actually reminds me of Brian Mitchell as a college QB. My uncertainty comes because the game has changed since Mitchell came out of school and his style is more closely in line with how the game is played today than it was back then.

Heinicke is limited and it seems as if the more film opponents have on him the more he's pressing to make throws into tighter windows and not trusting what he's seeing. Gotta recheck his throws in the last two games to be sure, but those overthrows are just poor mechanics.

A weak arm and throwing into double/triple coverage will be his downfall.

Draft. That would be the easiest route. Gotta keep an eye on Russ, but I doubt he comes here. Watson is there for the taking. A QB at least brings the fans back and gives us 8 to 9 home games again.

Neither of those guys can carry a team on their backs. Otherwise they’d be doing it now.

Look and Kyle and McVay. Kyle had Jimmy G ans was like.....not good enough. McVay had a top pick and said, nope.

You have to be ultra aggressive in acquiring and evaluating that position.

The thing that bothers me most about our loss today is that we got blown out by a team that is playing terrible football that put about 500 yards on us.

Yep!
...and the nature of that blowout also is troubling, 31 points after 3 turnovers and 13 total points after getting those 3 turnovers.

He's (Fitz) supposed to be, but I would not be shocked if he had a "minor setback" knowing that the next game up is against the Pack in their house. Probably will "feel much better" going to Denver in week 8.

SN: Watching Denver's defense as they play the Raiders might trouble him a bit too!
