Prisco has proclaimed them one of the worst 9-0 teams ever (if not the worst) and has even presented evidence:

So for this week's version of the Power Rankings, I went and took a look at all the teams that have started 9-0 in the past 30 years. Counting the Chiefs this season, there have been 15 teams to open 9-0. Of those 15, 10 made it to the Super Bowl and six won it.

How do they compare to this year's Chiefs team? I studied the offensive and defensive rankings for yards and points to make a valid comparison. What did I find? The Chiefs are one of the worst, if not the worst 9-0 team of the group.

Here's a look at all of those teams with rankings in offense and defense in yards and points:

2013 Chiefs: Offense (25th), defense (eighth). Scoring offense (16th), scoring defense (first).

2011 Green Bay Packers: Offense (third), defense (19th). Scoring offense (first), scoring defense (32nd).

2009 Indianapolis Colts: Offense (ninth), defense (18th). Scoring offense (seventh), scoring defense (eighth).

2009 New Orleans Saints: Offense (first), defense (25th). Scoring offense (first), scoring defense (20th).

2008 Tennessee Titans: Offense (14th), defense (seventh). Scoring offense (21st), scoring defense (second).

2007 New England Patriots: Offense (first), defense (fourth). Scoring offense (first), scoring defense (fourth).

2006 Indianapolis Colts: Offense (third), defense (21st). Scoring offense (second), scoring defense (23rd).

2005 Indianapolis Colts: Offense (third), defense (11th). Scoring offense (second), scoring defense (second).

2003 Kansas City Chiefs: Offense (second), defense (29th). Scoring offense (first), scoring defense (19th).

1998 Denver Broncos: Offense (third), defense (11th). Scoring offense (second), scoring defense (eighth).

1991 Washington Redskins: Offense (fourth), defense (third). Scoring offense (first), scoring defense (second).

1990 San Francisco 49ers: Offense (second), defense (third). Scoring offense (eighth), Scoring defense (second).

1990 New York Giants: Offense (17th), defense (second). Scoring offense (15th), scoring defense (first).

1985 Chicago Bears: Offense (seventh), defense (first). Scoring offense (second), scoring defense (first).

1984 Miami Dolphins: Offense (first), defense (19th). Scoring offense (first), scoring defense (seventh).

If you added up all the rankings, with the lowest being the best, here's how they rank:

1. (tie) 1991 Redskins and 2007 Patriots (10)
3. 1985 Bears (11)
4. 1990 49ers (15)
5. 2005 Colts (18)
6. 1998 Broncos (24)
7. 1984 Dolphins (28)
8. 1990 Giants (35)
9. 2009 Colts (42)
10. 2008 Titans (44)
11. 2009 Saints (47)
12. 2006 Colts (49)
13. 2013 Chiefs (50)
14. 2003 Chiefs (51)
15. 2011 Packers (55)

So you make the call. The worst 9-0 team ever? It's close if they aren't. At least the two below them could score.
