Tough 5 game stretch to end the season - 4 away games - all playoff contenders. Good thing Fangio is making them wear game jerseys at practice - every edge helps.

I just noticed the Broncos close the season out with 2 consecutive home games against opponents that should be beatable. If they can survive that brutal stretch from weeks 11-15 (having the week 10 bye helps) and still be in playoff contention I really like their chances.

Well he would be wrong. They don’t call me “iknowftbll” for nothing.

Ok seriously, I wouldn’t want a coach or player making a big deal out of the schedule. In their professions it’s one game at a time. I’d be horrified if our new coach had any other message and any confidence I had for a 10-6 or better season would be gone.

Exactly. We fans have the luxury of debating and pondering the possibilities and challenges, but I wouldn’t want to hear of players and coaches doing this.

I’d be happy to see the team go 10-6. I’d be disappointed in any member of this organization who publicly stated “yeah I think we can manage a 10-6 season this year.”

Yeah - I wasn't being ironic. The talent the Browns have on offense - against the Fangio defense - at Mile High. Also - long history of the Broncos burying the Browns in one dog pound disappointment after another. Something about the position of the planets at the time of the birth of these two franchises - (until further notice) the Browns are fated to be choking on the outer limits of devastating failure when they play the Broncos thinking they are going to be off to better things.
