Well Urlacher is most likely done for the regular season. Roach to MIKE and Geno Hayes at SAM. It's not that Brian has been stellar this season, but he knows the D as well as Lovie does. I can't imagine that Briggs is too far behind. I have no doubt that Peanut and Briggs can step up and lead the D.

They need to get healthy. Neither one has done much for a few weeks now. Nobody on this D has really stood out in the last few weeks. Our depth has disappointed of late. Wooton, McClellin, Collins...not providing quality snaps.

Hayden will fill in fine for Jennings who may miss this week too....and I dunno wtf is going on with DJ Moore?!? Htf does he go from one of the better Nicklebacks in the game, to Inactive!?!

The D has been disappointing the past few weeks, (the O plays a part in that too), but they need to play better, with or without Urlacher. It all starts up front for them and to me, the DE's are not getting done...their gap integrity against Seattle in the 2nd half was awful...Pep is battling thru injury, and I'm assuming Izzy is as well, but it's December folks...join the club.

I hope our season doesn't come down to last weeks abomination.

The good. Aside from the 1st drive of the game the D was decent. Cutler has only been sacked 3 times the last 3 games, Cutler deserves as much credit for that as anyone.

The Bad. 16 called runs/57 drop backs. 6 Big Drops, two for TDs. Hard to blame Cutler for having Marshall-tunnel vision with Kellen, Hester and Jeffrey not taking advantage of their opportunities.

Going forward, this team needs to look at least respectable vs. the pack. Another game like the 1st one or the 9ers game and I think they are done. Hopefully Gould, Jennings and Bush will be healthy.

Jennings is an unknown. I haven't heard/seen anything on him.

The loss to Minnesota wouldn't have been so bad if we wouldn't have choked against Seattle. 9-4 would look so much better.

Saw espn do a bit with Kramer & Ditka talking about the rivalry. It was fantastic.
Loved how they talked about how much they hated the other team, yet still respected them, how there was nothing better than going against each other.

I think the NFL today has lost some of that competitive respect.

The loss of respect came with all the BLAH BLAH BLAH during the week. The fans and media demand it I suppose. ESPN loves it, a 24/7 sports network is 90% filler.

I assumed that both would be a no go. Not having Jennings out there really hurts. Hopefully he can make it back before the end of the year to help out. We need everyone we can get.
