Bears and Forte reach an agreement....4 yrs, 32 million.

This is the most excited I've been about an upcoming season in a long time.

It's about time.

Seriously, though, major props to both sides for making this deal happen. We have all the pieces in place to make a Super Bowl run the next two years. Now is the time for this team to take the final step to greatness.

Preseason....tonight! I got a football boner.

Hope Urlacher's knee is ok....fucking Major Wright....only time his name was called all year.....totally meaningless game too...that shit makes it hurt even more.

It would be pretty frustrating to finally field a good offense, and have the D fall behind....Let Brian sit till Week 1....I wouldn't push it all. I wouldn't be surprised to hear he got it scoped during this 6 day absence....prolly should of had surgery in the offseason.

The pieces are there this year....let's hope they all fall into place.

GO BEARS!!

If you live in Chicagoland, the game is on Fox.

And yes, Urlacher, Cutler, and Peppers aren't playing tonight.

one of my grandsons is a colts fan, so we have been razzin him about tonight, but it should be fun to watch i want to see all the rookies get out on the field and get a taste of NFL game speed, wayyyyyyyyyyy different than college speed, just would like to see some players get some time on the field and no injuries, everyone is a little uptight just outa camp , but they will all be fighting for a roster spot this week and next week. Tice should have this offense ready for some physical play tonight.

What the hell was Bush doing? He dropped the pitch and just seemed to stare the ball for about a second before reacting.

Moore got the pick on a deflection. This game has been fairly uneventful. But you have to expect that with Urlacher/Peppers/Cutler/Forte sitting out and Hester only returning 1 punt.

Well, I gotta admit, I was a little impressed with McClellin. He needs to bulk up, but he definitely has a motor, and is lightning-quick. I like his relentless approach. His sack of Hanie definitely showed his speed. He shoulda had 2 more sacks if it weren't for Hanie ditching it last-second. He definitely needs to hit the weight room hard tho, as double-teams just swallowed him up. I could see him getting 8 sacks this year tho.

I was also very impressed with Alshon Jeffrey. He was running very crisp routes, and seemed to catch everything thrown his way. I see contributions from him as well this year.

I don't put too much stock in the Offenses inability to do much...it is preseason, and no team wants to show all their cards.

Everything is contingent on Urlacher being healthy tho. Let's hope he's alright by week 1.

I could see McClellin being the next Jared Allen.

Except McClellin is faster.

Major Wright tweaks hamstring.

WTF else is new!?

This kid could be great, if he'd quit fucking off during the offseason, and get his butt in shape. Who knows if he can excel or not....doesn't stay on the field long enough to gauge that!?
