He is a beast.. so with chase young and herbert gone we will get our boring much needed LT
at this point we have the # 2 overall so one or both will be there (tua ) . my thinking is if young is gone trade down and get the LT and more picksHe is a beast.. so with chase young and herbert gone we will get our boring much needed LT
So you guys would take Young over the LT from Georgia? IF we get a LT in Fa I would say yes.

Absolutely take him over any other position of need. He potentially gives this team something that they haven't had since Dexter Manley.
Some one told me we could have a 89 mill to spend in FA dont know how trueat this point we have the # 2 overall so one or both will be there (tua ) . my thinking is if young is gone trade down and get the LT and more picks
also the picks you get for TW will factor in
also what happens in FA

true
I think both are game changers, the questions is do you trade out of the pick
I agree with you hereAssuming the LSU QB goes #1 and we are at #2 sure we can trade out but if we lose the LT from Georgia than no. We should have a lot of money in Fa next year. If we do release or trade Kerrigan than Young become a even bigger target. Who are the top LT's in FA? Tunsil? lol. Cant believe he is a FA after that trade.

Here's what you do:
Take that LT from Georgia and insert him into the lineup with all of the other current OL members and what happens? (He's good and they're still not)
Then take Young insert him into the lineup with all of the other current DL members and what happens? (doubling him makes everyone else much better) Oh and BTW; if you draft him you get at least one extra draft pick, a player, or both, albeit one to two years too late, by finally trading Kerrigan.
and if we get a DC like Manuresky and we use him in coverage ? Young and Thomas are pieces , good pieces but I doubt either makes us top 5 on offense or defense . All things being equal I take young at this point

If Young is available I would be happy to pick him. I would even be okay and going with Sweat and Young. Sweat is a Kerrigan clone in style. Hopefully (it looked like it today) Young is more of a speed guy that can lean. I wouldn't mind seeing Kerrigan go to a decent team for a couple of years.
