He slid later than Utley did and Utley did try to touch the base with his left hand.
Before or after he passed the bag?

Oh, I remember it alright! There was a lot of outrage from this part of Cali, for sure. I thought that whip around by that fatass Holliday into tiny little Scutaro was excessive also ( ). Those kinds of slides should have been addressed then and the precedent should have been set for dealing with Utley. But Holliday wasn't reprimanded and as much as I can't stand anything in that shit shade of blue, Utley shouldn't be either. You remember this Moxie? Where was the outrage?
What difference does it make if you touch the bag after you pass it??Before or after he passed the bag?
I hope so. It will make for some interesting drama. He should definitely wear one in the back for that slide.
Let MJ be the one to bring up a thread that has "nothing" to do with the current thread. Dude, if you have nothing to say about this thread, then why are you even on it.
You are probably right.I doubt it. There is no doubt in my mind that the wimpy umps are going to warn each bench beforehand. Then if Harvey decides to drill him in the first inning, he'll get the needed rest his agent would like him to have.
Chase Utley apologized to Tejada through David Wright.Wright also apologized to Utley via text to a guy who knows this guy who runs the scoreboard at Citizens Bank Park on Tuesdays. Class act.
It could and probably should, but it hasn't before and that is why this is bullshit.

I hope Chase Utley kicks Daniel Murphy in the nuts each time he rounds the bases from hitting bombs off of Harvey.killer in the game
Chase Utley's two-game suspension appeal will not be heard on Tuesday either.
Major League Baseball suspended Utley two games on Sunday night for his takeout slide of Mets shortstop Ruben Tejada in NLDS Game 2. But the veteran infielder appealed that punishment and the hearing isn't going to take place within the next two days despite MLB's hope that it would. Utley, his agent, and the players union need more time to prepare, so the 36-year-old backup infielder will be available for both games in New York. The appeal hearing should happen before a potential Game 5 back in Los Angeles.
