Stevens will bring multiple titles to Boston and the way he has built the Celtics over his time there has been amazing. Can't think of a more solid duo than Ainge and Stevens.

Because you get swept embarrassingly two years in a row. Anyone could've had a winning record in the East with that roster - which stayed relatively healthy throughout the year.

Phil Jackson was a great coach. If need be he could out coach you.

Honestly though, he didn't.

Phil Jackson's true genius was that he got out of the way and let the players do their thing and allowed his brilliant assistant coaches to run the offense and defense.

Kerr is more in the PJ mold in that regard. Neither of them overcoached, but neither were/are great in game tacticians like Stevens or Pop.

I have always said this. Coaches should not be judged strictly by wins and losses. They should be judged by wins and losses relative to the talent on their roster.

People were up in arms when Blatt got fired because his team got to the Finals. But Blatt had to get fired because Lebron didn't respect him. That team should have gotten to the Finals. They didn't get there because of anything Blatt did.

Totally disagree with this.

Getting swept in the 2nd round is unacceptable especially when you had your full roster.

I honestly think if they lose in 6, he is still employed by Toronto.

Yep, losing a hard fought 6 or 7 game series is one thing.

But getting swept with HCA and as the #1 seed?

Even with getting swept, he may have been able to keep his job since you can make a case that 2 of the losses basically came down to bad luck.

But the way they just laid down in an elimination game? Can't have that.
