Im not even pissed this week. It has been a bad trend since the SB last season to continually blow 4th quarter leads. This team need to go back to the drawing board.

This defense is no longer elite. Still good but they can't play for 60 mins

You're right... They're not elite... They're solid, that's about it at this point...

Unfortunately they've turned into Fernando Rodney this season...

For all the hating on the offense, it's the defense that is really letting us down.

It's both. In '13 we had a few games where the offense bailed out the defense while most were the defense bailing out the offense.

This year neither can play with heart and determination in the 4th quarter. They are both equally pissing away games and that's why our fans are saying it's already over. They aren't going to magically turn it around in one week when 4 losses so far and a close call win haven't had ANY impact on getting them focused and pulling their collective heads out of their asses.

Anointed - Okung is getting paid $8M, that's still being 'paid'. but yes, he's one of the very few who the team can cut bait with. no reason to re-sign him anyway, he's been flat out garbage.

the team will need to trade and/or cut some of these other big contracts this offseason. it's completely unsustainable the way things are working right now personnel wise.

Pats, Rams, Bengals, and now Panthers where offenses just did whatever they wanted on our defense. 4 big collapses otherwise we are back to back champs and 5-1 on the season.

This is now a major concern.

I knew our defense would take a bit of a step back but I was hoping our offense would be dangerous enough to make up for that gap. Offense still sucks. So many opportunities to put the game away but the offense continues to falter. And when we do get in the red zone we might as well kick the field goal on first down.

That's fair... The only thing we had going for us today was that we didn't lose ground on AZ... That's the only positive I can take away from this game...

Then i hope the koolaid is good. So many flaws they have to adjust and fix now in a short period of time. There are so many good teams in the conference this year and they continue to let games slip through. Tough short week coming up

Oh yeah I can see that, I realize the last 6 games have been shit but it is no way time to gut the team like some have been saying. I just think they need to change their philosophy. Some games rely on the passing game, others on the run game. kind of like the Patriots last year they were games where they ran 40-50 times and won and others where Brady passed 40-50 times and also won. Also don't always assume the defense will be able to completely shut down a team, that will help a lot.
