I was at the Wolves game last night and I just wanted to tell you that this eddie lack character is pretty damn good

the organization loves that guy ... mentally, he's a giant (opposite of Luongo ) ... bad goals dont effect him at all

he was great at training camp this year and people were starting to say it might be time to move Schneider for offensive help and make Lack the backup

Cinderella story from outta nowhere.

gotta say, I love our Swedish scouting division (Thomas Gradin / Lars Lindgren).
they picked undrafted Lack out of a back-up role at Brynas - only played 14 games. He won the AHL starting job in his first year over here, and hasn't looked back.
same with Alexander Edler - drafted out of the third division Swedish league (traded up to get him in the 3rd round before Det had a chance)... one year Modo, one year Kelowna, one yeah Manitoba, then full time Canucks. great find, great development.

i guess i should have phrased my initial question better ... ie ... "how much has attendance fallen this year"?

just looked and the attendance is still not as bad as the Calgary Flames affiliate playing in the canucks backyard of Abbotsford

not a large sample size though

4 gp, gaa: 1.69 and sv%: 0.944, and 1 SO

Enough that it was noticeble but not enough that I think they are going bankrupt any time soon. Then again it is early in the year so who knows, they win people might latch on.
