Key additions - gordon, demarious thomas, bennet on D, and a good draft all around.

The defense is vastly improved, to the point i think they may be a top 5 defense.

yeah, losing andrews may be a lot bigger than we think. karras is very capable tho, and they picked up a swing tackle and a guard.

Voted no...obviously more wishful thinking than really believing it, but I felt LY was the weakest NE team of the 6 (defensively) to win a SB and they got the job done, making LAR look very average in the process.

Clearly they will be in the mix and I think it will come down to health and HFA...if they are again the #1 seed, it will be hard for any AFC team to beat them in NE in the AFCCG. Winning it? We'll have to see.

The backups got a ton of work in the preseason. The starters only played in the third game and not all played together. The defense under Mayo is even more of an attack defense than under Flores. 20 sacks in 4 preseason games by the backups. And some were aginst other teams first team offense.

Brady played a quarter and a half and looked like he did in last year's Superbowl with backups as his WRs. Edelman, Gordon and Thimasplayed last night with Stidman and looked damned good and will be even better with TB12 running the show.

Patriots will be 13-3, 14-2, 15-1 or 16-0.

There are only two teams that I see as problems. The Chiefs, who might just be vengeful enough to pull off an upset and the Saints who got got screwed out of a Super Bowl shot last year. The rest are wet paper tigers.
