Now Cam is stomping the flag? Lol this is quickly turning into an urban legend. Soon the story will be that Cam stormed the stands like Ron Artest, and choked some poor orphan Seahawk fan out with his own 12th man flag.

Another Cam Newton win, another letter from a salty individual.
After the Carolina Panthers defeated the Seattle Seahawks 31-24 on Sunday to advance to the NFC Championship, Cam Newton decided to make the rounds and greet the fans. That was when a Seahawks fan essentially handed him a "12th man" flag (Seattle fans refer to themselves as the "12th man" or the "12s" and carry that banner during home games).

Well, since the Panthers were playing at home, Newton decided to get the flag and toss it toward the field.

No big deal, right? Well, one overly sensitive, overly invested soul named Sarah was so outraged by Newton's actions that she decided to take the time to write a long message on the Facebook page of CBS Seattle affiliate KIRO. And this isn't just one person's opinion, either: The post has since garnered more than 23,000 likes and 15,000 shares.

In the letter, Sarah called the Panthers quarterback "Mr. Classless Cam Newton," explaining that the gesture not only disrespected the team but the fans, as well. She talked about how the Seattle's "12th man" is a community and a family, instead of what it really is, which is a very strong and successful marketing campaign by the Seahawks.

There were a few of us that openly jumped on Sherman for some of the stupid things he said and did. Really didn't represent the team well. Baldwin has been a little bitch at times. Imagine if it had been our QB though. You expect that crap from CB's and receivers. Not from the face of your franchise.

LOL! The most ridiculous generalization of the "12th man" I've ever seen. I have friends in Seattle that stopped going to games because being surrounded by "12s" ruined the live games for them. One could also generalize that they are a bunch of bandwagon-jumping, drunken, delusional fans that have no clue. It's football...get over it, dude.

Cam Newton may be classless, but the 12th man ain't the one to call him out on it.

Not whining at all, simply pointing out the hypocrisy between Cam Newton taking other people's property and anyone else. I'm sure you'd be really cool with me walking up to you on game day, taking your 49ers themed, Colin Kaepernick signed 2015 3rd place banner and throwing it in the mud. 1) "I respect that and I agree it's not really a very big deal, but the principle is there for me." You're complaining about something that's not a very big deal and then rationalizing it by saying, "How would you like it if blah blah blah". That's whining.

2) I don't own anything with Kaepernick's name on it.

3) If I did, I wouldn't wave it in another team's face.

I have friends in Seattle that stopped going to games because being surrounded by "12s" ruined the live games for them.

That could have created a feedback loop of butthurtness, resulting in the Puget Sound area being sucked into a different dimension.

I have been out enjoying the 70 degrees Phoenix temps doing some trail hiking in some of the area parks wasting time before my flight later this evening back to the below zero wind chills and logged back in to see it the most viewed thread. I hope it was Carolina fans who gave it to him. Otherwise, they are the ones who should be ripped for allowing that in their stadium. I can't stand fans who come into another teams stadium with their stupid props and expect to get treated with civility. The signs and props are nothing more than something to antagonize and elevate situations in the stands.

I can't wait to hear the stories that come out of the Linc this year when 2 of the most obnoxious fan bases come in next season to play the Eagles. Packer fans and their stupid cheeseheads and Steeler fans with that dumb towel. I'm sure there will be threads about how a mean Eagles fan took a cheesehead/towel and disrespected it.

I was there awhile back for that famous 4th and 26 playoff game. I cant say I remember seeing a cheesehead. They dont travel well and yea I hate them as well the few morons that wear them in the game can restrict the view of the person behind you but they dont really know that.

The one thing I did have to watch out for though on my visit was for drunk dudes whipping out there junk and then they try to piss on the opposing teams fan out while tailgaiting. I was lucky enough to notice this in time and was able to jump out of the way before it hit me.
