Cam Newton pissed off another opposing teams fan by taking something from them

The letter was stupid, especially from someone that just started watching football 3 years ago, but Cam is still an asshole. I hope Arizona clobbers him and they dab all the way down the Panthers sideline.

I hope it was Carolina fans who gave it to him. Otherwise, they are the ones who should be ripped for allowing that in their stadium. I can't stand fans who come into another teams stadium with their stupid props and expect to get treated with civility. The signs and props are nothing more than something to antagonize and elevate situations in the stands.

I can't wait to hear the stories that come out of the Linc this year when 2 of the most obnoxious fan bases come in next season to play the Eagles. Packer fans and their stupid cheeseheads and Steeler fans with that dumb towel. I'm sure there will be threads about how a mean Eagles fan took a cheesehead/towel and disrespected it.

I'm not writing a letter or anything, but my problem, as it would be with the Terrible Towel (emphasis on the former) or any other possession a fan brings to a game, is that these athletes should have a little more respect for the belongings of the people paying to go to games than that.

Cam wants to be some role model. Giving out balls to kids and everything yet at the same time he's ripping signs, banners, and flags out of the hands of fans and trashing them. Those things aren't free. We didn't all sign multi-million dollar contracts. Some people have respect for the belongings of other people.

JMHO...I'll support my team with the team colors, a jersey, etc., but I'm not going into an opposing team's stadium flying flags, expensive signs, etc...you're asking for the wrong kind of attention. Common sense says that there's a good chance something bad might happen to my sign, of flag, etc. taking it into enemy territory.

This thread is about classless Cam tearing down, etc., but in another stadium like in PHI, we could just as easily be about fans fighting because somebody tore up a sign.

To the point...if the item meant that much to them....send the Panthers a bill c/o Cam Newton and see where it goes.

I go to every Seattle home game and tailgate every week. I see plenty of opposing fans with flags, hats, signs, etc. I don't go up to them and take their shit and throw it away because I'm not an asshole. How does that concept change when the fan goes into the stadium and the asshole becomes the QB of the home team?
